How we support each other today will be known for generations…

Charlottesville Community Cares knows that Mutual Aid means that we can take care of each other and meet each other’s needs. We have been redirecting funds since the beginning of the pandemic and aren’t about to stop now! (see below for details of our success)

Mutual Aid relies on each of us to do our part so if you can donate all or part of your stimulus check, Cville Cares will direct that support to folks who need food, prescriptions, utilities and more. Redirect your stimulus check today!

#50forFood Campaign Surpasses Goal

Cville Community Cares is deeply appreciative of your response to our #50forFood campaign in partnership with Sin Barreras.

Over $86,000 raised for the #50forFood campaign!

THANK YOU to our over 200 donors!

These resources will support hundreds of households experiencing food insecurity.  Thank you to Sin Barreras for partnering with us to distribute grocery gift cards to immigrant families in our community. Thank you also to the rural community organizers connecting with our Grocery Team to strengthen our ability to support each other throughout the region.
